ARGONET STAFF ARRESTED - ISP TO CLOSE?
News has just reached us of the arrest of several members of
ArgoNet staff following alleged fraud arising from the misuse
of funds. The arrests, which happened late on Sunday, follow a three month investigation into the disappearance of several key resources required for the running of the ISP, including the mail and web servers which have been unreachable for some time. There are also allegations that not only has someone taken all the chocolate biscuits from an unlocked accounts department, but former employee and sales director Ian Goodall also ate all the pies. Concern is rising as to how the ISP will continue given the departure of most of its key staff. Others however doubt that they will see any difference in the level of service.
