MicroDigital have stunned the computing world by inventing a motherboard which runs with no microchips at all. On hearing the news, Chief Executive of Intel, R. Ichbastard, resigned, quoting 'How the hell can we can compete with that?'.

Castle pulled production on their Iyonix, stating 'Our design using Microchips is out of date before we've even started shipping. Clearly this chipless, connectorless design will take off. We wish MicroDigital the best of luck'.
