RISC OS is we!

Today it has come to light that Castle Technology have deliberately sabotaged Microdigital's efforts to release their long-awaited Omega computer.

Earlier this morning we received a surveilance tape from Microdigital's Yorkshire offices, from an anonymous source. When we viewed the tape we were shocked to see footage of a Castle hit squad storming Microdigital's offices late last night. The squad was led by what we can only assume to be the elusive Iyonix Black.

For those who haven't been following the latest news, the Iyonix Black is rumoured to be a quad X-Scale powered Iyonix sequel, with Castle's HAL 9.000 at its core to allow all RISC OS software to run at breakneck speeds.

In the video, the Iyonix was seen resting in a small, unidentifiable cradle, which allowed it to levitate approximately a metre above the floor, as well as supplying power to the computer itself.

After seeing the Castle squad enter the offices, the footage cuts to an internal camera, on which David Atkins can clearly be seen working on an Omega. The following unfolds as the hit squad enter the room:

David: "What? What's going on here? Who are you?"
Iyonix: "Look Dave, I can see you're really upset about this."
David: "Get the fuck out of here!"
Iyonix: "I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that."
[ The squad move closer, and hold David at gun point ]
David: "Please! I'll do anything! Just don't hurt me!"
Iyonix: "I think you know what the problem is just as well as I do."
David: "I don't know what you're talking about!"
Iyonix: "Dave, this conversation can serve no purpose anymore. Goodbye."

At this point, David is knocked unconscious and the squad proceed to pour petrol over all the work benches and floor. David is dragged off, and a lit match cast into the room. The office becomes an inferno, and the image from the surveilance camera is soon lost.
